Whether its Canelo, Chavez or Quilin, the end result seems to be the same for these former Golovkin sparring partners when it comes to accepting a match. Alot of excuses seems to come up and makes me wonder if they don't like their chances of winning after being in the ring with Golovkin.

Chavez would never make any type of weight. Quillin was just scared and Canelo is a Superstar boxing politician like the guys that he successes, Mayweather and Pacquiao. Everyone must bend to his will or fight for peanuts.

Chavez could make 168 just fine, and Golovkin would fight him even at 170.

You are right about peanuts though. These guys have cojones size of peanuts.

A Chavez has not made 168 in years.

He made it for the second Vera fight, and he was supposed to fight Golovkin right after that.

Sparring against those 3 guys cost him a future match with one of them.

I think Canelo found things out about Golovkin that he would rather not have.

If Golovkin was smart he would have intentionally "lost" these sparring matches, specially with Canelo. Canelo would be much more confident then.
