He was having a good moment, but lost on a cut? atsch. It was a technical decision and Pascal won on points clearly

And also the best LHW Dawson had faced when even older and also the fighter, who also when older beat Pascal

You also forget that Joe pulled out of a fight with Glen Johnson not once ,not twice ,BUT 3 Times ! I wonder why ? Must of been because of his height and age .

I believe he also pulled out 3 times against Sheika, but that fight happened and also lets not forget, Calzaghe had to fight the winner of Johnson/sheika and Sheika won, also Calzaghe was ringside to fight Johnson if he beat Woods and Johnson lost again, so I noter you didnt put that Johnson not once but twice lost box offs to fight Calzaghe.

and I have a hard time believing Calzaghe would duck an old journeyman like Johnson to fight a younger, much more dangerous Mikkel Kessler!!! and yes Calzaghe WAS injury prone. he was notorious for hand problems.....Many of his fights including Lacy had to be rescheduled. He still ended up fighting them. He wanted to reschedule the Johnson fight but like i saidJ ohnson said he was "done" with Calzaghe.

also not once throughout calzaghes reign was johnson ranked in the ringmag top 10!!

Ward is also a pretty good Boxer in his own right Joe is not the same type of boxer as Ward is he fights more on the outside Ward is more of inside fighter ..

Whilst I dont necessarily disagree with you, Calzaghe was versatile and could fight in different styles, but that comment of yours alone is a contradiction of what you first wrote when you mentioned Dawsons reach, in that someone who fights on the inside had no problems getting close to him

And Karpency was gifted a decision no way in hell he won that but again this Chad after 2 back to back KO losses ..The one that beat Hopkins Gives Joe C fits ! You can deny it all you want but lesser fighters have troubled him

Far lesser fighters have beaten Dawson, nobody beat Calzaghe.
Also Karpency wasnt gifted, he was timing Dawson and won and that was on the outside as a further point

I wrote this at the end of July 2012. Dawson I recall was over a decade younger than Tarver and Johnson

Funny but Joe never beat the guy everyone beat you want to talk about rediculous posts you should be reading your comedy gold !atsch

And again he pulled out of 3 agreed upon fights that why F R A N K was left to pay out around 100k and to pick up the pieces ..I don't know why Joe Didnt want to face an old Warriror like Glen who peaked late that's something you should ask him !

And with regards to the Pasacal fight of course he won the fight was stopped on a cut in Canada right as Chad was coming on ,Jean was a about knocked out yet you act like he beat the breaks of Chad !

And Karpency did not beat Chad Chad was robbed on pts alone he deserved the nod but again this was after back to back KO losses .

Like I said the one that beat Hopkins is a problem for Joe ..No one is saying he destroys him or vice versa it be a tough fight for either guy..

So just as he was coming on forgetting he lost on points.
How can you say someone was about to be knocked out? atsch Many fights twist and turn. If for example someone had of been cut at the end of Pascal/Hopkins 1 at the end of round 3, I expect some would say that Hopkins would have been KOd later in that fight after going down a couple of times, but we know that didnt happen
