Yeah and he'd of tapped Joe Calzaghe's arse had he been prime.

Hmm, now lets see? He throws about a hundred punches per fight, compared to Calzaghe's 80 to 100 per round. Cant fight for more than 2 minutes per round. Split decision win over Ray Close, due to fading rapidly after 8 rounds.

Don't take much working out does it?

The question is basically could Eubank beat Kessler and old, past prime Hopkins, with the answer being yes to Kessler and it's 50/50 with old man Hopkins, depending on how the judges see it on the night, the same as it was for Joe.

Kessler and Hopkins certainly have a chance of beating him.

    No way..

    Joe's longevity is something special..

Eubank looses to Kessler and Hopkins, remember, he would be in his mid 30's.. He would also have a tougher time with Lacy than Joe did IMO.

Eubank would suffer a loss to Hopkins just like Joe did .

When did Joe "suffer" a loss to Hopkins? I thought Calzaghe and Hopkins only fought once with Calzaghe outworking and outlanding Hopkins? :think Guess I was wrong....

I don't think he would tbh. Hopkins would be far far to much for him. Only a gifted fighter like Calzaghe can take Hopkins to the trenches and come back victorious.

Easily, until it gets to Hopkins, which is a mind-numbingly boring staring contest that Hopkins edges.

Kessler would lose every minute of every round against Eubank. Made to order.

A better question is would Joe Calzaghe go through Chris Eubank's resume undefeated, because Eubank came before Calzaghe and set the path for him (Calzaghe would be nobody without Chris Eubank - NOBODY)... and the answer is a resounding No - as Nigel Benn would've knocked Calzaghe out with the right hand 99 times out of 100 and Michael Watson in a fast-paced counter-punching style (blocking slaps and countering in clusters) beats him, too.
