I agree that Eubank at his best probably takes out Robinson - huge natural size/weight/strength difference. I feel Hagler would be hell for Eubank, though... and Monzon would find the right hand a lot.

Clay and Louis are too naturally big for Eubank.

'HOF' is subjective nonense. Like 'P4P'.

Eubank did however fight extremely dangerous opponents like Nigel Benn (x2), Michael Watson (x2), Cruiserweight Carl Thompson (x2), Lindell Holmes, Graciano Rocchigiani, Joe Calzaghe and Henry Wharton, and future world champion Malinga, #1 contender (with all four bodies) Thornton, and awkward, slippery, tricky fighters Schommer, Sherry, Stretch and Essett. Not bad for a laughing stock (according to two posters on legendary boxingforum24.com internet board)...

Eubank hurt Calzaghe badly enough in the fight they actually did have - Joe was completely gone in the last few seconds, Eubank held him up. And that wasn't with proper punching technique from the foot due to Eubank's knee troubles... the great Calzgahe was also hit with the right hand the rest of his career more than any world champion in history! And we know Eubank could deliver the short right as well as anyone and score the most devastating of KO's with it.

If he didn't knock Calzaghe clean out, he'd surely stop him with almost at-will right hands, as well as hooks and uppercuts when Joe's stunned, and the kind of brutal body blows he landed on Graciano Rocci, and of course that killer finishing flurrying.

What a defense Calzaghe showed against the tremendous Kabary Salem! Knocked flat and almost out

Calzaghe must be the most grossly overrated fighter on these boards. Truly shocking to mention him alongside Robinson, Hagler, Monzon, Clay and Louis. Sorry!

I think that was definitely the most hurt calzaghe had been during his career.

Eubank seems to be vastly underated by many on these boards, American fight fans only saw what HBO pushed under their noses with regards to Jones and Toney often fighting bums, building them up and forcing gullable fans into thinking they were unbeatable, whilst the likes of Eubank, Benn, and Watson received little exposure stateside.

    Eubank is overratted bigtime.

I usesd to think highly of him when i was younger , but upon rewatching his fights ive realized his showboating used make me believe he was better than he was.

    Domestic level at best.

When I see how Eubank hit Malinga and Thornton at will and how Roy Jones Jr struggled to break their snug defenses, it's not rocket science that Eubank was one of the very best in terms of ability, what with Jones rated as the best ever at the time!

Behave yourself, domestic level!? He was unbeaten world champion for 20 fights or something crazy.

Funny, last time I checked it was Jones who ko'd/tko'd those men not Eubank.

I wouldn't say DM was domestic level?
Ottke seemed to lose all his fights!
