My answer to this question is the exact same as it was 2 yrs ago & the exact same as it has always been.... Cotto doesnt have what it takes to compete vs a boxer of Mayweather`s class & skill.... the end !

It's extremely rare to get action like that in today's mega fights, but Cotto really was done after that knock down and he has only Manny to blame for that. I still loved the fight, unfortunately for a lot of people here in Puerto Rico if our guy loses it was a crap fight :verysad. Not for everybody of course but a good number of people.

Cotto seems intent on continuing so I wouldnt rule this one out just yet.

As amazing as Mayweather is I think style wise it's not to bad for Cotto and he'd do ok in losing a decision.

Mayweather would beat Cotto pretty badly.

There is nothing that Cotto has that PBF doesn't have an answer for.

Mayweather shuts down body punches with elbow blocks and short uppercuts. Mayweather would easily time Cotto's jab just like he did vs Judah and vs DLH and make him pay. Cotto cuts and brusies to easy, and takes a lot of punches. Pacquiao beat Cotto to the punch almost every time. Mayweather would beat Cotto to the punch every time.

You would be putting the most accurate puncher in the history of boxing against a guy that takes more hits then anyone at welterweight.
