don't get mad because you're boy Cotto is going to get a boxing lesson of his life.

his uncle is going to throw in the towel ... thats his nephew thats going to be taking those shots and he never seen Miguel get hit that much and that precise.

Evangelista knows what Floyd could do ... he's going to keep Cotto on a short leash and once he sees danger ... he's going to pull Cotto to safety.

I think you are hugging slightly, but take your point.

Americans never give any non-Americans any credit whatsoever. The most insular nation in the world!

Mad? :nono Come on, Eze. Don't flatter yourself. Apparently, you were the one feeling some sort of emotion, being that you literally changed your avatar 3 times in 10 minutes.

Cotto-Mayweather will never materialize, because your boy is headed down the path of least resistance.

Yeah right ... there's too much money to be made ... if it can get total strangers to debate about hypothetical **** ... then its bound to happen.

If Cotto's chin and hype stands up to two stiff challenges then the fight will happen.

You want it to happen, I want it to happen ... yeah you might not care if it does or not but would love to watch it.

We'll see, Eze. I think we're more likely to see Mayweather-Big Show II or another attempt from Sinclair to Dance With The Stars than Cotto-Mayweather.

To the contrary of alot of you on here, I think this fight would be closer than some think. Both have simular styles and both press the action. It would be interesting to see who would come out the agressor in this one. IMO - Cotto either by late stoppage or SD. But it would be close

If Hatton actually did some real in-fighting, Cotto would KO him in 8 rounds... and that's being generous. Hatton's style of pushing and pulling is what will give him a good chance of making this fight a win for him.

Honestly I don't think he'd win the fight, but he'd make it a really rough fight for Cotto. If fought in Manchester... it's a toss up.

this is a solid point to consider and a good thread.

There is no doubt that Cotto would brutalize Hatton if they fought at 147. Likely winning by 4th or 5th round KO

Hatton simply cannot fight at 147, and history has proven this twice. His weight class is 140. I don't know if it's his miserable between fight diet plan or if he's just too small, but 147 will never be his weight class, and Cotto would destroy him at that weight.
