Why are you constantly making these shite threads? We've been over this before and the consensus is that Hatton wouldn't stand a chance at 147lbs. Why are you putting him into dream fights which he couldn't win? You seem to dislike Hatton, for whatever reaso, and putting him against fighters who would beat the crap out of him makes you feel better.

How long before we get Aaron Pryor vs. Ricky Hatton? Huh? How abotu Sugar Ray Leonard? **** that, Tomas Hearns? While you're at it, how about Ricky Hatton vs. George Foreman and Sonny Liston?

    Hater :-(

Cotto has beaten every fighter Mayrunner has beaten by a wider margin or a KO this would be no exception.

Cotto was weight drained and fought in spurts. The 147 pound version is much stronger and better conditioned. Hatton's strength is nothing to write home about at WW.

Most of the Welter top 10 KTFO of Hatton in 5 or less, most have real Welter power.

Cotto in 3 rounds, not joking. Mosely in 4-5 and even Quintana SPARKS Hatton with that sneaky left hand in less time that Floyd did.

haha, ridiculous mate, how could cotto permanently damage hatton?
hatton is getting very little credit on this board, cotto is a totally open fighter and can be caught by a good fighter, hatton has power and a big heart,he gets inside cotto often and doesnt allow him to get off his shots, its an extremely close fight to call, and although i would give it to cotto on a decision,it is much closer than what you people on here are calling it!

Ah, but Hatton can't fight being pushed back and Cotto's damaging punches will have him being much less offensive and on the prowl all the same.

Hatton lacks anything necessary to hang with Cotto, he's a completely overrated fighter. His chin and body at Welterweight just can't absorb top class Welter punches and punishment.

Thus why the Mayweather victory is put into perspective. None of this is hindsight either, I am on record saying all of this before Mayweather knocked him silly, predicting Mayweather to knock him out.:p

I think that fight makes more sense than Mayweather-Cotto! It would be good!!!!

Cotto would knott Hatton up! And put him to bed late in the fight!

Yes, of course...you predicted Mayweather TKO 9 which was an excellent prediction.:good

About Cotto v. Hatton, it's worth bearing in mind that Hatton would also be allowed more leeway against Cotto, because of styles, so would do more damage in those couple of rounds than in the 10 he had against PBF.

Exactly. Cotto wouldn't be able to avoid nearly as much as Mayweather did. Hatton is a decent puncher, and Cotto doesn't have the best defense in the world, not is he granite chinned.

This fight would be a toss up in my book, but I'd put money on Cotto.

At 147 I'd say Cotto at 140 I'd say Hatton.

More convincing victory...hmmm....not sure about that at 147. PBF wasnt caught by many shots but Hatton did still take a few rounds. I can see him taking more rounds against Cotto but getting hurt more. So whatever way you want to judge that!
