Cotto would stop Hatton in 10, in a good fight.

Cotto is bigger, a better puncher and the better pressure fighter.

I think Hattons speed would give Cotto trouble for a few rounds but Cotto would grind him down, down the stretch.

Due to styles the fight would be more thrilling no doubt and of Course Cotto would be hit more because he would throw more punches instead of resorting to a defensive shell once Hatton attacks. Though the result will be the same around the same time but with Hatton showing much more long term damage.

If memeory serves me correct Cotto has tasted the Canvas more than Hatton has......and at least Hatton is a champ that beat THE CHAMPION in his class....Cotto is a paper champ who fought for a vacant belt:smooch

No you memory serves you wrong, I believe Hatton has been dropped on 3 previous occasions. Once against Magee and twice vs PBF and if I'm not mistaken the ropes held him up in the 12th against Collazo. Cotto was pretty much pushed down against Torres though he was severly hurt, he still did'nt go down until he was literaly pushed down. Nothing wrong in that if memory serves me right PBF's glove touched canvas against Zab with a clean counter shot. Though it was not officially called real boxing fans know once the glove touches canvas after a punch your officially down.

I have always wanted to see Hatton - Cotto and I wouldn't want to bet on the outcome. Hatton is a brutal fighter and is someone who would give Cotto a lot of trouble. He is quicker with his hands and with his feet and has a better chin.

On the otherwise Cotto is a wrecking ball at 147lbs and is physically stronger than Hatton. Hatton needs to be able to bully his opponents, but Cotto is too strong to be bullied around the ring.

I would favour Cotto because of the physical strength, but I reckon Hatton is perfectly capable of causing an upset in this one. Hatton's advantages in speed and footwork would be made redundant by his tendency to brawl, which would play right into Cotto's hands.

I pick Cotto but wouldn't write off Hatton like people here are doing.

lol@ he would "soak up" punches:-(

if you were talkin about Mayweather u would say...

That my friend is why Cotto will not beat Mayweather and why Hatton will have much more success VS Cotto then he did against Mayweather:good (not saying Hatton would win though:yep )

You can't be serious....Quintana has been in with 154lbs he's slick with good power and in my personal opinion a stylistic nightmare for head first pressure fighters who telegraph their attack. Please tell me you don't think Hatton would just mow Quintana down.

This is why I don't take you serious. Your posts suck. you suck. And you can't even get your facts straight.

Cotto has been down once, and you could say it was a push down. Hatton's been down twice
