Cotto would destroy Hatton at any weight.

The Cotto at 140 early on that wasn't appearing weight drained I would certainly pick to beat Hatton. He was a lighting fast fighter with amazing technique and just flat out TEXT BOOK punching. Early career Cotto at 140lbs was just an unbelievable technical puncher IMHO

Agreed; he fights more like a bull at 147, though he's shown versatility and an all-around complete skill set. The 140 pound version of Cotto had quicker hands and snappier punches.

That would be a real good fight.
    I would say pickem.
    Both guys can bang.
I would predict a train wreck.
Either one of those guys could hurt the other.

your memory is shot because Cotto only tasted the canvas ONE time and that was really a pushdown by Torres that was ruled a knockdown.. Hatton was knocked down by some irish bum!

Uhhh you act like Hatton has fought the best? He recently fought Urango and Collazo.. And Gomez at 147 would beat Hatton.. Cotto fought and beat Mosley, Judah and Quintana all of whom would beat Hatton. Hatton couldnt hold Cottos jock strap.

Well then dunks doesn't know what hes watching or he's a moron.. or BOTH lol.. Maybe he was hurt 3 times but he was only knocked down ONCE.. and that was more of a push down that the ref ruled a knock down.

3 knockdowns? Come on Dunks, watch the film:lol:

Cotto was clipped with a good shot when he was already on unsteady legs. Torres pushed him though, agreed. Although he may have been knocked down a few seconds later.
