Would Cotto have the same success with Stewart in his corner?

    Do you think Cotto would of had the same success with Manny Stewart in his corner? Pedro Diaz gave Miguel a good game plan to execute and to be effective. Miguel looked great in there.

    The guy left his family and boxing is his family now. Definitely G material for me :)

    I think the result would be the same. I'm sure the training techniques would be different, but the plan would likely be somewhat similar.

    Probably, but not worth the risk... Steward is very overrated imo & Cotto looked a bit stiffer and slower while with him.. Glad he is gone.... Then again, this guy, we don't know him.

    I'm sure he believes he's doing the right thing. He did come from Cuba afterall.

    Can't be easy raising a family there.

    It would've been a worst beating because Steward would've had Cotto getting in that weak body Margarito has.

    Diaz had a really good conditioning program for Cotto. I think gameplans would have been the same but the maximizing of recovery time that Diaz worked on was brilliant. Cotto with stamina is a bad man!
