Would Crawford at 31 have beaten Manny P. from 2015 or 2009?

PAC from 2015 would most likely lose to Crawford, since his hand speed and timing wasn’t as good as it used to be and even his feet weren’t quick anymore.

PAC from 2009 on the other hand bodies Crawford.

gamboa had him on ice skates, a flush left hand from manny would end him

Crawford can box for long periods without tiring so I give him the win over prime and veteran Pacquiao. Just baded on how successful Cotto was in the early rounds boxing him out and Bud ability to brawl like Agapito did when he destroyed prime Pacquiao and everyone pretends it never happened.

Crawford would beat 2015 pac and he would be lucky to get a draw against 2009 pac. That's how beastly pac was back then

Idk about flip a coin.. We’re still not sure how good Bud Crawford actually is.. So to call a tossup on a PAC that crushed Miguel Cotto is a overstatement.. That’s the thing about this whole generation of fighters outside of a handful.. These guys make it to 30 yrs old and is still unproven where as guys like PAC, FMJ, Oscar, Shane, Zab, Cotto, JLC, Freitas already had good resumes at that point..

Don’t forget who got dropped multiple times, and have you seen him on skates since?

Who crushed Cotto first? All of this is opinions nothing else , should Bud beat Spence and grab a belt at 154 where will he be rated?

No I’m just saying it’s hard to gage how Crawford skills translate historically due to his lack of competition.. Errol is not too proven either it’s more of a generational thing these guys want too much without putting in the work for it.. The only guys I consider proven is Canelo, Loma , Usyk, AJ,Fury, Hurd, Thurman,Santa Cruz(to an extent) Kov, Berchelt, Top SFWs and a little more.. Trust me coming from a Charlos bros fan the guys in this generation are underwhelming when it comes to competitiveness

How can you not be proven when you where a Undisputed Champ? And I’m not trying have a argument but do you think just maybe you can be too good for your contemporaries ?

Let’s be real and honest that 140 lb division was horrible when he was there.. Indongo was KOd in the 2nd round in his very next fight, Molina, Lundy, Jean, Dulorme??.. If he becomes undisputed at WW I will admit that he would be historically great.. But now to says he’s even with 2009 Pac an overstatement.. And like I said it’s not just him it’s majority of the fighters this generation..

That’s the thing you said it yourself we really don’t know how good he is and may not know it till five years later.

Yep that’s what I’m saying we knew how great Manny was because MAB, JMM, Morales etc was already on his resume.. My initial statement was most fighters in this generation make it to 30 and we still never have an idea how good they are because they haven’t fought good opponents.. Prime example how good can we honestly say Andrade is?? With his skill set we should know but he hasn’t faced no top 5 opponent his whole career and he’s 32
