Vitali seemed to have lost the power compotent during his late fights and against Kownacki, if you don't knock him out, you should have good durability and movement - which is possibly gone now when Vitali is 46. Stylistically, Kownacki is perfect for Vitali though - he comes at you and is always there to be countered. Prime Vitali would finish him in one round.
Depends how his gas tank is now in his late 40's. Vitali would win rounds for as long as he can keep going, Kownacki is terribly easy to hit. Wish vitali would stay retired though.
I agree Arreola is the closest comparison, but I don't think he ever beat someone even on Szpilka's level, the fight after Szpilka gave Wilder all he could handle until the shot that knocked him out cold. I'd say Kownacki is a step above Arreola on the basis of work rate and stamina is pretty impressive for his size. Not sure I'd reco he loose too much weight bc that's where his power comes from, he will never be a quick/agile fighter, might as well keep the power as long as it isn't impacting workrate
Vitali is still in the gym, he would beat Kownacki by knockout and he would easily knock Wilder's arse out! I would pick Vitali to beat Joshua at age 46.................
Only the bronze bomber can beat the fearsome polish pastry worker. Please Deontay, cancel the fight with Ortiz, and give Kownacki his well deserved title shot!
you could pull vitali out of a coffin and you'd still have people saying he'd beat every heavyweight in existence backtoback on the same night with one hand tied behind his back and his other hand tied to his todger. in this case they'd be right.
Greenberg. And he's https://media1.tenor.com/images/877ac9ef6e43e97745b9e654466d8e94/tenor.gif?itemid=5978803
All the top cruisers out there would break Vitali down NOW , never mind the top Heavies. Usky , Gassiev , even Okolie would be too much for brittle ol Vit whose nearing 47 years old. He'd even lose a rematch against Charr. He was even lucky that fight was stopped early back in 2012 cos he was absolutely knackered after just 4 rounds. He dropped his belt and retired to dodge Stiverne because his creaky body could just not perform anymore. He would have got hurt in that fight against a guy he would've croaked within 3 rounds in his prime. He'd have no chance against anybody right now.
He dropped the belt to pursue politics and Charr was getting beaten from pillar to post you pathological liar.
He dropped the belt to dodge his mandatory and the Charr fight was a back and forth . You're wrong on both accounts as well as being a temperamental little fanny.
Yeah in your bizarre anti-Klitschko world. There's literally no proof of that - the preponderance of the evidence suggests that he was more focused on his political career and chose to retire because he couldn't balance the two. As for Charr he won every single round easily and knocked him down... To say the Charr was "getting to him." is pure anti-Klitschko fantasy that's on par with the absurd claim that Solis was "schooling." him prior to being stopped.
