You really think he'll fight Trout or K-9 out of jail? Do you think either of those would sell to Floyd's standards?

    1. He doesn't need a ****ing tuneup to do anything. He could immediately go into fighting anyone from 154 down.

    2. It doesn't matter. He can do whatever the hell he wants to do. He's 35, owes nobody any fight, can keep or vacate any title he gets and go right back to another title because everyone wants the big money fight with him and every fight he picks with a name fighter is going to be a big money fight.

    3. What would he need a tune-up for? He just fought in May. What are we talking about?

no, dude is a lightweight, we saw vs marquez what floyd does with light weights. floyd doesnt need no tune up. he needs to train hard, but he does that anyway and when he does what he does anyway than he can fight anyone.

Garcia is way better and would be a way more legit tune up than Guerrerro. I'd prefer neither though...... but if he needs a tune up than Garcia ain't bad.

Well Floyd was planning on fighting Khan but Garcia upset him so yea i think Danny is a decent pick. Floyd really doesn't have much fights anymore. Pac, Bradley, Khan/Garcia.... pretty much it.

I think it depends on who he's fighting after his "tuneup" fight, if Pacquiao is the plan, then Guerrero, simply because he's a fairly skilled southpaw. If Pacquiao is not in the plans, than maybe Cotto II. I believe both he a Pacquiao are running out of viable options. But given their "one-upance" of each other, I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather went after Bradley.

yes, if you want to see Floyd force an early stoppage. other than that, no.
a tune-up should be someone that can really test him, yet not be too dangerous. basically a fight to shake out the cobwebs.
