If Chad did Beat Calzaghe surely it would be held along with

    Hatton-Tszyu
    Calzaghe-Eubank
    Tarver-Jones Jr etc

Or would we be hearing cries of exposed and ****?

Check the records, Dawson won. Chad won at least 7 rds and Glen Johnson gives everyone fits.

Of course he would. On the fiipside though, Calzaghe would get very little if any credit for beating Dawson.

He would little credit from people who know nothing about the sport.

Why can't people understand that Dawson is the number 2 lt heavy behind Hopkins and Calzaghe is the Champ.

Joe beat Hopkins and if he beat Dawson it would be a big win.

It would say he beat a living legend and then a top young lion.

I see fighters for what they are, no bias here.

Why are you such a douchebag?

Yet under your name you have ''Bad Chad Dawson'' clearly biased.

I am not the one making derogatory comments to posters....

I am the one making derogatory comments to a douchebag.

I am a fan of Chad sure, but it doesn't mean I can't score an honest fight.

If anything, I look for more reasons to NOT score rounds for my favorite fighters as I like to lean on the worst case scenario. When Shane, also one of my favorites, fought Cotto, I had Cotto winning 7-5 or 8-4. No bias there either.

The worst case scenario for the Dawson - Johnson fight was a draw or 7-5 for Chad. Go score it yourself.

That would be the truth, but the haters here would simply say that Dawson was a hype job and over-rated and never very good in the first place. Some might even start admitting that he lost to Johnson. It goes with the territory of being Joe Calzaghe.

This is the most clear example of bias and bile.

Proven douchebag comment with no rational thought.

"Admitting" he lost to Johnson? :rofl

Glen Johnson fought a great fight, but he didn't win 7 rounds, which is what you have to do with no knockdowns or point deductions to win a fight. At most, Glen won 6 rounds.

The bigger question is would Joe get any credit for beating Dawson....the answer is no.
Dawson would just become another Jeff lacy and people would question his credentials, nothing Joe does will be enough.
He should retire as much as I enjoy to see him fight, there is no one out there to touch him ,fact

I disagree. Dawson already has some solid wins on his resume. Tarver, Johnson, Adamek, and Harding. And i think Dawson will go on to do greater things even if he were to lose to Calzaghe. He'll be a P4P regular. Heck, PBF called him the best P4P fighter in the world. I mean if you just watch him fight, you know he's got special talents.

    true indeed.

They can't even acknowledge that 80% of the Showtime audience had Glen Johnson winning that fight, or that a rematch is the real fight that Dawson needs to fight before he is pound for pound anything.

Yeah. He would get lots of credit and would leapfrog many on the p4p lists
