Would De La Hoya have stood up to Pac's final left hand on Hatton?

Sure, it's irrelevant. The skeleton of De La Hoya should have been on a hospital bed getting himself rehydrated, not standing in a boxing ring trying to fight with no energy or lifeforce whatsoever.

Am I missing something or wasn't Hatton down twice in the first round?

No matter the size of the man, their are probably very few people who could have taken that shot.

If Anyone got hit on the jaw, with that precision and power, whils't not seeing it, your going down.
