Sometimes I wonder if some posters actually watch boxing other than a few minutes while they channel surf.
Ruddock could go the distance with Tyson and he didn't care his broken jaw.He could take Tyson's best punches but the featherfisted Fury could destroy Wilder easily plus Fury never had a granite-chin.
Ruddock had a pretty rudimentary defence, largely consisting of trying to put his hands on the other guys shoulders to hold him at range and lean back from incoming punches. We can see against Lewis how well that worked against taller fighters.
Ruddock could destroy the 6'4" James Smith who was taller. Lewis is a bad example because he was far better fighter than Wilder.
Could go either way imo. Neither fighter is good defensively and both are pretty limited skill wise. Ruddock has the edge in skill and chin but Wilder is physically superior. If I had to bet my house on it I’d go with Ruddock.
Wilder has a punchers chance, Ruddock has a better fighters chance. Wilder has no defense, smarts, chin or stamina. That is recipe for disaster against a murderous puncher.
Nort sure but I think the Ruddock after Tyson II no longer had the punh resistance and the determination therefore the easy victory for Lewis.
Does Ruddock have a chance? Yes, but I do not see him winning. One loss to Fury and now Wilder is nothing? Not for me.
This is an easy choice if you're not blind and having to wear rose tinted glasses to see. Lewis knocked out Ruddock with a straight right hand, and Wilder has probably the hardest right hand in history. Ruddock was very hittable, and Wilder only needs to land once. Wilder does Ruddocks game but better. Wilder drops Ruddock by one punch and stops him devestaingly in the follow up.
Yoooo you got banned? Tell us everything! I’ll prepare the tea. By the way I agree with your assessment.
@Seamus2 There simply is no BF24 without the #2 poster on this page So no worry. That bashing of Deontay Wilder....whats next, Floyd Patterson knocking him out?
