Would Eddie Chambers and Arreola been ATGs if there were no Eastern Bloc fighters?

    No, but neither was Wlad. You dont become an ATG over the span of one bout either.

    this is a very good thread imo.

    The two prominant HW's were clearly Byrd and Ruiz, the winner of them would have been considered a great definitely.

    Peter would have steamrolled old versions of them and likely stayed on top for a few years so he's another who could have gone down as a great.

    Chambers would be coming through about now so it's hard to say.
