it's much worst. floyd has no choice in the beginning since the fight with marquez was seen as a msimatch in weight. but when he saw jmm drinking his own ****, he couldn't just hide his natural tendencies to berate his opponent. it must be the competitive nature or being an ass.

floyd also tried to be nice with ortiz so that people won't see the mismatch in class but floyd just couldn't help himslef in this case. no problem with mosley and oscar since people see this as a legit fight from the beginning.

I don't think Mayweather will disrespect Cotto. In contrast, I thik he will show Cotto much respect. Floyd knows that he is taking on a war worn Cotto that has also fought Pacquiao and his fight with him will be another measuring stick on how the two Pound for Pound kings fare against one another in greatness. Floyd has to make people believe that this version of Cotto is no less than the Cotto who fought Pacquiao so that his win is credible to his legacy. As has been said, Floyd's respect for Cotto will be comparable to that of Marquez in the build up of their fight.

Cotto just defeated the most hated guy in his life who play one the best villain roles in boxing press conferences, who even mention his family at times. Judah talk a lot of trash as well. Whatever Floyd says will not affect Cotto as much. Floyd recently seems to be calm down and let his uncle and dad do the trash talking instead.

i think he ll be answering more questions about manny than cotto and therefore talking, and trashing manny more than cotto.

he ll probably just say **** like, "congrats to cotto for stepping up to the plate, he s a real warrior, willing to face the best, unlike that punk ***** manny!!" ....etc.etc.

I think Money will keep his mouth pretty well shut when he is around Cotto, but will inevitably say some typically off the cuff dumb stuff about Cotto on the 24/7 when he is realxed in the comfort of his own house or gym.

Cotto is a total pro in and out the ring, the only time we've really seen him emotionally involed (i think) was in the Marconcreto rematch. You could feel how much it meant to him and his clan the moment it was stopped and he just stood there glaring in satisfaction, quite understandble.

Even though Floyd is a bit of a punk he's a very clever punk that understands boxing inside out and I think he'll realise in this case with this fight he won't gain much from trashing Cotto, he knows he won't get in Cotto's head. IMO.

    floyd: "step-up punk!"
pacquiao: "50/50 and you got the fight."
floyd: "you can't have 50/50" :patsch

Why not? He knows Cotto is a very calm and collected individual, so why not take "advantage" of that?

He'll talk a little **** but Cotto being a humble reserved guy will lead to it being minimal a la Marquez, Cotto just better not drink pee or eat poo or he's in for it.
