Would Floyd be more active if Pac weren't around?

    Personally I think Floyd would have been much more active over the past few years if it werent for Pac being such a force in the sport and a threat to Floyd. There's so much pressure for Floyd to fight Pac that no matter who Floyd fights, he is going to get criticized for not fighting Pac instead. Therefore he'd rather not fight at all and make it seem as if he's just not interested in boxing for the time being. In my opinion, the pressure will be too much for Floyd and he will eventually face him, but he'll wait till he see's signs of Pac slipping. Trust me, he'll be watching the Pac/Mosley fight VERY closely regardless of what he says.

    I also believe his legal issues have a lot to do with the constant pressure and stress of being asked the same question every corner he turns. "When are you going to fight Pac?". Whether he's at the mall, casino, attending a fight, etc..... Its the same question over and over, "when are you going to fight Pac?". After a while, it takes a toll on a person and can make any man lose it, and as a result its caused him to become very mentally unstable. Other factors such as arrogance and immaturity play a role as well.

    So what do you think? Would he be more active if it werent for Pac?

    Yes, people would watch him fighting ANYBODY.

    He himself had chosen to rather quit than fight Pacquiao where the fight reached the point of a must happen for both. Just Floyd doesn't like that, Manny would sign the contract any time now - it got personal for him I suppose.

    Floyd is ducking Pacquiao clearly and I don't know why, when his uncle claims they he'd beat Pacquaio easy why not make some millions and gain ATG status + the fact that they were right all the time. As much as I hate Floyd outside the ring I'm his fan inside the ring.

    Nah, Mayweather knows he can beat Pacquiao as do a lot of others, likely some on Manny`s side also (which would make sense actually)... what he doesnt know for some reason is that the longer he drags this **** on the LESS interest people are having for this fight.... this fight aint getting bigger & bigger, that stage has past, its reached the now or never stage IMO because fans worldwide are PAST the pissed off stage & are showing a lack of interest now.

    bad news for void, pac changed his mind, he will be fighting till 38, and floyd will be 40 that time. while pac is fighting for 6 years more and acquiring lots of million$, void will just satisfied of betting in NBA games, small time black ass...lol.

    arum putting Pac in with all these different guys asap without even trying to negotiate the fight is what is holding things up IMO.

    Its true that Mayweather should be pushing for this fight rather than sit back & waste time acting like a proper ****** as if he`s bigger than the sport... but its no less true that Manny should be telling arum that `enoughs enough, this is becoming a joke now, I havent got that many fights left in me, make the FMJ fight before I lose my fkn prime & stop milking me by feeding me lesser fighters in order to line your own pockets, stop ****ing the boxing fans you selfish fat piece of ****`

    Thats my view !

    Last I heard, Arum, Jeff Mayweather, and Don King tried to negotiate a 3rd fight between the 2 until Floyd demanded $100mil. Pac and Arum cant force Floyd to fight Pac.

    He retired before Pac became big. He probably came back with the intentions to fight Pac so he can prove he is the best once again. Why would he even come back? Unless he has money issues there was no reason to come back. So to answer your question, no because he would have stayed retired.
