Floyd has a very underrated resume. There are even claims Ortiz is another cherry picked fight for Mayweather and again will not get his props. Ortiz is a very live opponent, coming of a good win in Berto.

I like both guys. *******s and *****s always have something to say if they aren't a fan. Only a moron are discredit these guys achievements.

What made it worse is the ring entrance of Floyd wearing a gladiator thing. But the fight turned out to be not a gladiator way. Remember the interview of Merchant with Floyd after the fight with Baldomir.

Should Floyd and Pac fight. When Floyd win, of cause people are gonig to use the small factor on Pac part. Haters are going to say he should of fought Martinez instead.

This type of thread is pretty worthless. Yeah, lets just get excuses ready and plant ideas in people's heasd w/o seeing how the fight actually goes, or how each looks if they win.

My opinion, Pac is smaller then Floyd. It's pretty noticable. But if Floyd wins, he beat the best fighter today wh fights in his same weight class.

It's not just the Baldomir fight, that was just an example. :thumbsup

Only you floyd fanatics believed that.

No one would give a **** about Baldomir, linear champ or not, if Floyd took on the much more dangerous Margarito. The baldoimir fight was a gimme, a ****in tune up vs. a journeyman w/ a belt that Floyd was in a hurry to take from. Yes, Floyd's WW legacy comes from beating the worst WW champ ever. :-(

I'd give Floyd credit for just fighting him. Which he isn't going to do.

lil floyd should get credit for beating the best there is.

It's only him to blame if there would be naysayer since he keep saying that Pac is a simple midget and easy to beat.

No, don't think anyone said he was scared or ducking JMM... But he was ducking Mosley if he didn't fight him after he interrupted his win, and cherry picked him after he won. He was ducking Hatton if he didn't take the fight, but cherry picked a smaller guy and forced him to fight at 147 although he won a belt. He was ducking Judah when he didn't take the fight with him and Baldo instead, but cherry picked a quitter... He's ducking Pac now, and after he beats him he'll have fought the smaller guy he didn't need extra tests for and somehow requested the tests knowing Manny wouldn't agree until years later after his prime. :D

But, what if Floyd had turned down the Marquez fight when JMM called him out?
BTW, the Judah fight was already agreed to when Zab lost to Baldomir, Floyd in turn fought both guys.

No one forced Hatton to fight at 147. Hatton made the challenge, you don't challenge a guy to come down in weight. What ***** does that?

the answer is yes. they will never give floyd credit period. people are just stupid delusional creatures who believe what they want to believe instead of believing in reality.

I didn't suggest that. My point was about Floyd playing it safe, not going for any type of big win and rather playing it safe ala Baldomir. It was an Add-on to what Boxing_RN said.

pac has been campaigning at 147 for years. He is a proven welterweight now. This is where he is different from hatton and floyd would get full credit. I also wouldnt call Hatton one of Mayweathers signature wins.
