I'm not the biggest Mayweather fan, but it's not really a fair comparison TBH.

Mayweather started his career as a Super Featherweight, Leonard started his career as a Jr Welterweight/Welterweight ?

Leonard's best weight class was Welterweight, where as Mayweather's best weightclass was Super Featherweight.

Also quite a few of these fights could never realistically happen, Mayweather could not fight Hagler at Middleweight, Hearns at Super Middleweight, Lalonde at Light Heavyweight aka catchweight.

But as for the match ups that could actually happen, he probably splits a series 1-1 with Duran. I could see Mayweather edging out Benitez in a close decision, and finally he loses to Hearns who is the worst style match up for him.

Marvin showed Ray too much respect.

    He didn’t pressure him enough.

The question to ponder though, is: Would Marvin have shown Floyd the same amount of respect, where he stood off of him?

Again, Hearns was only vulnerable when people fought him aggressively.

Floyd would never have done that.

Hearns would never have been vulnerable against Floyd.

Hearns couldn’t put Ray away, because Ray had a shootout with him and came out on top. But again, Floyd would never have replicated that.

He would say they're on steroids and they can have the belts lol.

All jokes aside, I think its a fair critique to fault Floyd for having his resume filled w past prime fighters he should've fought earlier. I also would've been interested in him facing Sergio Martinez b4 he declined but thats just my preferred match up.

Great talent, legendary fighter, but again its reasonable to question how much he cared about staying undefeated more than his legacy. SFW I have no problem but from LWW n beyond I just don't think he has the wins to back up his talk. SRL does w less fights regardless of losing.
