Would Floyd have KO'D Algieri ?

This fight would be like trying to push together two similar pole magnets.

 

To be honest, I can't imagine Mayweather fighting a scrub like Algieri. He was still living in his Mom's basement when he fought Pac. lol

 

He fought ortiz and guerrero.

 

Ortiz and Guerrero were at welterweight before they fought Mayweather, had belts and were coming off of wins. Algieri got the s**t beat out of him but managed a disputed decision in his last fight at a weight below the weight he fought Pac at. That's what gets me about some of you Pac fans, you have absolutely no objectivity. There is no justification for a fighter like Pac to be in the ring with someone like Algieri.

 

And if you feed algieri guys like berto or broner, then instantly you got a floyd opponent. Berto and Broner are two of floyd's gatekeepers lol

Algieri wouldn't make it through against either of Broner or Berto. The only reason you hype him up is to justify his fight with Pac.

 

Broner and Berto are two of the most overhyped boxers in the last couple of years.

 

They still would beat Algieri. lol

 

I could not see him doing it with one punch and Algieri would run away if hurt and it's not in Mayweather's nature to wrecklessly pressure. If Pacquiao and Provodnikov couldn't Mayweather can't.

 

Based on what? Hype doesn't win you actual fights. Algieri only lost to pac. Algieri beating providnikov is better than anything broner has ever done.

 

yep, algieri would throw 1200 punches to mayweather's 400. people forget algieri has that piston like jab he keeps pumping out like cyborg.

 

Algieri "survived'" Provodikov would be a more apt description. Broner and Algieri are both at 140 now. I hope they fight. I don't even like Broner but he would do a job on Algieri. I know you can't see this because you are blinded by "Pac-love". lol
