Would Floyd Mayweather jr. need a tuneup

    I don't get tuneups. What do you get fighting some bum in the ring in front of a crowd as oppose to sparring an elite fighter in the gym simulating a real fight?

    SRL sure didnt need one against Marvin Hagler.

    IT's a good idea, but he won't have one, IF he ever returns. A tune up won't pay him what he thinks he deserves, and since he needs a major name to help him get his check, a tune up just won't do it.
