We might have had a trilogy.

But I think Mayweather was too obsessed with being the dominant power to control all the little things to his advantage and ultimately keeping his 0

Floyd's biggest motivator is money, not even legacy.................and guaranteed money at that. I think if Turki would've been at the forefront of the deal (and not Arum who Floyd openly hated), the fight would've happened. My position has always been that Arum's involvement was the biggest factor of the fight happening later than earlier, not Manny at all (he just fights), and Floyd maybe having 25-30% of the blame for not wanting to be under the thumb of Arum involvement.

Every fighter that eventually leaves Arum, is never keen on working with him again..........................it's the same pattern for every elite that left him.

No, all the money in the world would not be enough for Floyd Mayweather to overcome his fear and fight prime Manny Pacquiao, or prime Miguel Cotto, prime De La Hoya, prime Shane Mosley, Vernon Forrest, Felix Trinidad, Antonio Margarito, or Paul Williams.

Mayweather never once took a fight he wasn't certain of winning.

Gotta agree on that one. A bit of a shame- the guy was truly gifted. Just never wanted to take the risks. So many ''what ifs''.
