That's about as real as it gets, LOL! Look at all of the past opponents of Pacquiao. Not one of them comes remotely close to the skill set used by Floyd Mayweather. I'm not a ***** or a *******, but let's be serious. The chances of Floyd getting hit flush with a shot where Pacquiao is looking at the floor while throwing it are between slim and none, leaning heavily toward none.

It would be easier to Pacquiao to hit Floyd with the right hook that floored Hatton in round 1.

So the short answer is "No, Mayweather wouldn't survive a shot like this." :tong And in fact he could've added "In fact there's only a few persons that could survive that shot. Hell, even Manny couldn't have surved that shot." and left it that. It wouldn't have diminished Mayweather it was just a statement of fact. BUT, NOOOOOOOOOO... In a classic KNEE JERK fashion typical of Mayweather fans, he thinks better to belittle Hatton and instead of belittling Hatton, he hurts his idol the Pretty Pretty Boy. And shows off to the world PBF inadequecies. Pacquiao an easy to read and outbox brawler took Hatton out in 2 rounds. Yet, Mayweather the GREATEST BOXER to ever step in the ring; with all his advantages over Hatton, BOXING INTELLIGENCE, SPEED, POWER, STRENGTH and DEFENSE, couldn't KNOCKOUT "a clumsy **** like Hatton" till the 10th round. hahaha...LOL Geez, this is too easy... too easy... :hey

Hold on, so you think pacquiao gets in the ring looks at the floor and swings...im not questioning at all mayweather, but dont make stupid comments...they are both skilled boxers...mayweather more so, but pacquiao makes up for it in other departments...

That's more of a problem for Manny than Mayweather. Manny will get countered to death in similar/worse fashion to/than the Marquez fight. When have you ever seen a person land more than a 2 punch combo on Mayweather? His flurries will be interrupted with counter punching and defensive movement. Floyd FORCES NEARLY EVERY FIGHT into a technical event, which of course favors him. This is why he has never lost, and this is why Pacquiao will lose...he can not outbox or out-think Mayweather. Pacquiao has not displayed that ability to this point and I doubt he suddenly will if these two ever fight.

Words are marked....and mark mine.....Floyd will face his most difficult test and potentially suffer his first loss against Manny. If this fight happens! We can only hope!:good

Floyd got hit with a huge overhand right from a bigger, stronger Shane Mosley, of course he could take Pac's punch, but I doubt he would even get hit with it. People are going to be in awe of just how easily, and thoroughly, Mayweather schools Pacquiao.

It's only a problem for slower folks.... i.e (Blown up JMM) Floyd won't have an easy time finding his mark b/c Floyd anticipates and times his opponents to the point where he figures out their rhythm. Manny's rhythm is part of what make him so difficult. HE DOESN'T HAVE A SET RHYTHM!

The kid is boucning on his toes...darting in, out, left, right.....all the while throwing crazy amounts of punches from all sorts of angles. Floyd is use to seeing his punches coming at him from conventional stances and he's use to being a lot faster than his opponents.

Floyd won't be so quick to "PUNCH WITH MANNY". I gurantee you that. He will when he's at a comfortable range when he knows the opening is there. But just as quickly as openings show up with Floyd and how quickly the disapear will be the same problem Floyd will face with Manny and his quickness.

Floyd is a fighter that adapts and uses his technical skills to control lesser fighters into fighting his fight. Manny controls the pace of ALL his fights. He'll push Floyd to exert more energy than he's use to...he'll force Floyd to be more defensive than he's use to and that's saying alot.

It won't be easy for either guy but it will come down to who has the better gameplan and who is more successful and implementing their stratagy for the majority of the fight.

I see Manny outworking Floyd who has trouble finding opportunities to present his own offense due to Manny's work rate.

That was what Manny claimed to the hardest punch he ever threw.

And look who it came against, Hatton.

That had to be the WORST lead left hook I have EVER seen on an elite level.

    01. Mayweather would never throw that shot.
    02. Due to 01, Mayweather would never be caught with that counter.

    Bingo.

Hatton is a punching bag, he is wide open for any shot, even that wide punch.

Notice Pacquiao is 1-1 in punches landed in that .GIF aswell. If Hatton landed to land a counter jab on a punch that wide, imagine what Floyd would land quicker and more accurately?

    Lead left hook?

You do realize he's a southpaw right? So that's the same as someone throwing a lead right hook.

Who the **** do you know at an elite level aside from maybe Mike Tyson that throws a lead RIGHT hook?

That was a counterpunch. And it was executed perfectly. That's the type of punch that makes the bag pop like a fire *******, and depending on who's throwing it, maybe even closer to a gun shot.

Either way it was a perfect punch and it ended the fight.

And who are you to say that Mayweather wouldn't throw that punch? You don't think if he had an opening against a southpaw fighter, he would throw a counter right hook?

I know Mayweather is not prone to taking risk, but I think it's safe to say that he knows what he's doing.

Who are you to criticize one of the best and most skilled fighters in the sport.

    (Mayweather UD)
