Again, it depends on what happens in the fight, but I think Mosely is in better form now then he was for the Cotto fight.

Going into the Cotto fight, Mosely was coming off a string of nothing wins (a decent-ish wish over Collazo) which followed a patch of not getting a win (outside of the controversial win to Dela Hoya) for a few years. Mosely was re-building himself, and was in the first big fight he had been in for years. And because he had seen Cotto be "wobbled" numerous times, he went in with the game plan that Cotto couldn't withstand his power punches (i.e. the wrong game plan).

Remember, the same Cotto that beat Mosely was destroyed by Margarito, who was in turn destroyed by Mosely.

I just don't get it. Why would winning (or even losing) a close decision to a future Hall of fame boxer like Mosley hurt Floyd's legacy?

Two of the best 147lbs in the world are fighting each other. What bad could come from a close fight?

Did Duran's legacy suffer from winning a close decision to Leonard?

A win is a win. Mosley is the guy everyone wants him to fight, aside from Pacquiao and has shown himself to be in fine form. No reason a close win should hurt him.

It would still help his legacy overall, a win is a win. But if it's a close fight then it would hurt his place in any debates on whether or not he can overtake Pac as P4P #1.

Homophobia is ugly, it makes you seem pathetic and bitter Luke O. I think it is quite sad that your hate for PBF has to somehow coincide with your hate for gay people.

He made a comparison. Clearly, when you compare a fighter to another fighter, the first fighter can't be the actual second fighter. Or otherwise it wouldn't be a comparison.

There's only 2 categories for people who don't give Mayweather credit for a Mosely win, even if its close. Possibly 3.

If Mayweather wins a close UD against a Mosley than in any way resembles the version that fought Cotto I'll start to consider the possibility that Mayweather is no longer a thoroughbred.

Seriously...why do you go out of your way to comment on every thread about Mayweather? You try very hard in trying to convince Mayweather fans why he isn't that great, or he's ducked this guy and this guy...your starting to seem more obsessed with Mayweather than anyone else on here. :patsch:patsch

Then give me seven rounds Mosley won you coward. Here's my round by round breakdown, I bet you wont give me yours cause Mosley ain't win **** in a fight even he admitted he lost. Cotto rounds 1,4,5,6,7,8,9,11 and Mosley rounds 2,3,10,12.
