Only way to know for sure is if they actually fight. Even the biggest KO punchers run into guys that they can not KO so who knows.

    I dont know...
Forbes has a sturdy chin as he has never been KOD. pretty good defense and fast hands.

ok, im not really going to elaborte too much, so if i miss some things that i later agree, have mercy ;) but i really think Forbes would have gone 12 rounds with Cotto. Mainly because he is a defense first type of fighter who also fights back and doesnt get bullied, he may get beat to the punch but i havent really seen him get bullied (correct me if im wrong). He has that style that makes you go the distance with him. Second, he has world class chin made to fight 12 grueling rounds.I dont really rule out Cotto stopping him, if he did i would figure that it would be from the 10-12 round probably after a very physical fight and Forbes going to down due to the body work, and from a body shot. But Forbes style, metality, conditioning and skills make him a tough cookie for anyone to stop. If i had to put my money on it, i would say Cotto UD. Also, i dont think this fight should really happen, i actually think it would be a good idea for Cotto to use Forbes as a sparring partner should he ever close a deal with Floyd ;)

I'm not sure. Cotto looked frightening in his last fight and I think he made Gomez look alot worse than he really is.

Doubtful. I think the same body work Oscar landed, but thrown by Cotto, would have taken more steam out of Stevie and left him very vulnerable in the late rounds. The stoppage would depend almost entirely on how hard Cotto decided to gun for a KO, and whether Forbes's corner would keep sending him out for punishment.

No. Cotto would have broken him. Too strong, purposeful and relentless.

Cotto destroys Forbes like he did Gomez. Like it was said earlier in this post, Cotto made Gomez look much worse than he really is. He also did the same to Quintana.

Hell no Forbes wouldn't have made it 12 with Cotto.
