Would Frankie Edgar be a powerful puncher down at 145?

HE would have some pop for sure. He'd stand his ground more, put more punches together and his right hand looked decent against Maynard and always does when he actuallys puts some pop onit.

Homminick was a bad weight cut so he gassed and just wasn't as good as he normally is.

Next to nobody kills Kenny, even though he looks a bit funny the guy is a very good fighter. Only BJ has done and he was the worst stylistic match up you could hope for.

Aldo beats down Edgar because the things that made Edgar so good at LW are reduced in comparison to Aldo i.e. Speed and movement. He is also shown he can be hurt by guys not half the striker Aldo is, Aldo is also a brutal finisher. All that = Edgar being toast.

 

went back to watch the punch and you're right it was so simply right place right time. I remember it being stronger for some reason :yep
