Would Froch-Calzaghe have been as close as Reid-Calzaghe was?

i recently watched reid vs calzaghe, an underrated fight that was. i scored a reid victory by 1 point i believe. it was very close. and calzaghe was a lot less accurate than usual. altho he did suffer a hand injury in round 4 i think.

to answer the ts. i believe calzaghe vs froch would have been a very close fight. i dont think calzaghe has as much power as taylor did so he wouldnt be able to keep froch off him IMO. plus with calzaghe's growing tendency to get caught cold froch could have scored a flash knockdown. and im sure he would have been able to win 4/5 rounds by taking joe out of his game.

in his prime i think joe would have schooled calzaghe. but at the time when talk of a fight was growing, calzaghe was on a decline and froch was on the up.

I believe Calzaghe would have majorly embarassed Froch at any point in their respective careers.

Froch would stop Calzaghe..................if they fought today.

Prime for prime, Calzaghe (on a good night), shuts Froch out 120 - 108

Froch would put on a brave fight, but I think he would have got a whooping from Joe.
