GBP playing nice w/ Joe and another article on Froch letting his feelings be known on the former champ again, saying he would KO Joe and Joe knows it....

    so....

Froch really seems to want Calzaghe over anything and it would be a monster fight overseas.

    Obvious question....

Would Carl Froch pull out of the S6 if Calzaghe came back and said lets do this....Wembley Stadium....for all the marbles??

:think no poll, i don't care about numbers...just say what you feel.

Ofcourse he would...... He would make a **** load of money, and have the best resume at 168

he would have the best resume if he won the S6 (devil's advocate :D)

do you think wins over the people he would have to fight in order to win the S6 would make him less money and be less of an accomplishment?

The absolute worst thing that could happen to Carl Froch would be for Joe Calzaghe to respond to his constant babbling, and show up in shape and focused on fight night. What Joe did to Lacy would look like choir practice compared to what he would do to Carl Froch.

i agree...but the proximity of the articles discussing Calzaghe/GBP and Froch saying he's ko'ing Joe was too much for me not to ask :yep

question. do you think Carl stands a better chance of staying on his feet against aa or ko'ing Joe...i don't see either Carl or Joe ko'ing the other.

This time it will be Froch doing the 'butt hump' to his opponent I guess...

OK. Enough is enough. Step back from the keyboard hermit......

the thing is, at 38, if Joe is gonna come back its going to be very soon. the S6 will not be over very soon. Also, you know how much he looooooooves that "0" so he's gonna want to fight someone whom he can beat AND maximize profit. Froch fits the bill perfectly.

You know damn well GBP would let Joe co-promote to get an even bigger taste b/c of all the money that would be involved. and you know damn well Froch's eyes would get wider than silver dollars if he found out this was viable.

    very very interesting.

he would make much more money against Joe

Froch - Undefeated british fighter, exciting brawler style, big power, good chin, and a load cocky SOB

Calzaghe - Undefeated british hall of famer coming out of retirment, who some consider the best at 168 ever, the first undisputed 168 champ who never lost that title in the ring..... Pretty popular in the UK

It would be a big fight in britain if it were 2 foreign fighters, but the fact that both are british :scaredas::scaredas::scaredas::scaredas:

It would make a monsterous amount of money

i won't lie...i would love to see it. but i am also looking forward to the S6 matchups as well....

i agree Froch would make more $ fighting Joe. BUT the question still remains would winning the S6 be a more all around accomplishment than beating one guy? even if that guy is Joe Calzaghe? that's a tough one when you think about it.

God, Froch probably dreams about being able to hold it over Joe's head from now until the second coming that he took that precious "0"

i can't disagree with ya but it would be quite something to leave all those big fights on the table to fight Joe.

I'm no Calzaghe apologist, and that fact is certainly well known. However, it would be a sad, sad thing to see an old, coked out, Slappy Joe lose to Carl The Clumsy.
