Would Froch give up chance to win the S6 if Calzaghe answered his challenge??

Froch would throw his girlfriend at Joe for the chance to fight him let alone give up the tourney .

I would think that Showtime made some type of provisions for guys dropping out of the tourney, and I doubt if fighting Calzaghe would be considered a justifiable reason.

Froch already has the best current resume at 168. If he adds Kessler to it, that will be fairly indisputable.

What I would like to know.... Howcome it has become cool to predict that this that or the other fighter is just about to leave the SS?

Ward has an agreement with HBO and will never fight Green!

Abraham will not continue if he loses the next fight, and will go back to MW!

Froch will drop the SS if Calzaghe stops snorting!

All .. pure .... rubbish. There is a multi-million fine for dropping out. In fact, there is info saying that if Ward fought Pavlik he would be left with nothing after paying the fine. In fact he would still owe a lot of money even efter paying with the purse from the Pavlik fight.

All in all... rubbish... and this bs got old some time ago.

if you read the articles i referred to in the first post instead of just posting you would have understood where i was coming from. its hard not to connect the dots when there is an article about Calzaghe and GBP getting cozy and GBP fielding questions about a possible Calzaghe return and then an article right under it about Froch saying how he'd knock Joe Calzaghe out.

it would **** over a lot of fighters in the tourney and throw a wrench into everything. BUT you can't deny its possibe. if you do...that's just rubbish...all in all :D

put it on a piece of paper...anonymously...and leave it on my desk :D

but aside from that...hopkins would fight him i'm guessing. he's on his revenge tour starting w/ roy. jt may not be available for health reasons after that.

    Hopefully not.

If Froch win the S6, he'll be steering clear ahead of Calzaghe on the ATG lists. :happy

If Calzaghe comes back, it'll only be fitting if he fights the S6 winner or Hopkins.

    Nothing else matters.
