Would Gatti vs Chico Corrales at 135 be a great war, or would Chico dominate

I feel like Corrales has every physical advantage plus he boxes slightly better..

It just don't add up for Gatti unless he could land a good L hook..Corrales been on the floor a lot...Gatti too but Corrales a lot a times gets put down from just one punch

Corrales would put Gatti in ICU.

Corrales would probably beat Gatti up pretty badly.

His punches would constantly get to Gatti because he threw such short quick punches, while Gatti threw those winging hooks. Chico would consistently beat Gatti to the punch because of this.

Corrales was very stiff and flat footed. Gatti would have a good chance.

Corrales would make it a war, that was his M.O. - he didn't often maximize his physical advantages - but it's a war he would win. Too much speed and power for Gatti.

    The later.

Chico would have slaughtered Gatti in a one sided fight. He was just a different class than Gatti.

Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't aware that Gatti had the legs of Ali...

Corrales was plain and simple a MUCH more talented and skilled fighter than Gatti.

He was a beautifully devastating short puncher, and he had very quick hands.

As opposed to Gatti, with his mediocre handspeed, and his looping ass punches.

Corrales beats him to the punch early and often. By the 4th round Gatti's face would be destroyed and he'd be getting hurt by every punch.

Gatti is gone by the 5th.

Gatti has a very good chance. Corrales wasn't indestructible. He got touched up a lot in his fights and dropped. At 135 Gatti fought close to 147 and had fight changing power and a good workrate. Corrales liked to wade into the pocket and brawl. Gatti does have a jab, its inconsistent but it shows up, plus he has a great left hook which will have plently on offer as Chico will most certainly engage on the inside like he loved to. I like Gatti in another classic brawl where he somehow pulls out a win whilst on the edge of disaster.

Corrales would stop him mid to late rounds in an exciting fight. Gatti could win some early rounds if he boxes.

Corrales only lost to the best below 147. Gatti wasn't as good as any of those guys.

Gatti never beat a quality fighter in his career. Whereas Corrales beat several fighters much better than Gatti, INCLUDING Gatti's daddy, Manfredy.

    Gatti was ****. Period.

    Corrales destroys him.

Gatti at this weight was good, but awfully unpolished. Corrales was better, longer and stronger.

I respect what Ghatti was about, but here Corrales was better.

Gatti's face would look like a bleeding marshmallow by the 5th round.
