No. At least not at the moment. And tbh I don't think he would in the future. He has looked the worst of the 3 Olympians so far, although it's still early days.

Frankie will do it properly, he will accomplish himself at 4, 6, 8 and 10 rounds before making a claim for a World Title.....the quality of his amateur opponents before he turned over were a cut above what he is fighting now.....

Frankie is making the transition to the pro's at a nice steady rate....there are so many others factors to take into consideration, not just opponents...

Frankie was an amateur for 13 years or thereabouts.... he has been a pro for a year...... don't make any judgements yet...:yep

No Mas, not forgetting the fact that his opponents came and covered up which makes it extremely difficult for a counter puncher to shine. His last opponent threw more and look how good Gavin looked then !

Moorser, I think all our prospects should be fighting in 4/6 rounders abroad instead of milking them for their following against poor fighters and putting them on PPV. Plus it'd give their coaches (Arnie and the like) a chance to pit their own skills against some good American coaches. Would benefit Boxing in this country for sure

i agree they should fight all over the place , get out of there comfort zone , its stupid having them on ppv , i also think they should start on 6 rounders , 4 rounds is too risky in case they got knocked down in a round they will have a hard time trying to win the fight if this happens

It is good that the top class amateur contests have gone to 4x3 rounds... it is a lot better for them to make the cross over in training.....4 rounds is a good starting point.... would you run a 10k before a Half Marathon??... it is about learning and developing.....progressing at the right pace... learning the differences as a fight moves on....knowing when to step it up etc.....

Lots of judgements are been made about Frankie at the moment.... IMO he is the best in the World at his weight at 4 rounds.... as he has said himself, he will progress to 6, 8 and 10 and be the best there as well.

He is in a great camp, with a great trainer and has FW behind him....all quality ingredients to drive him towards his goals...:yep

Frankie Gavin absolutely mastered the amateur game.

Given time, he should master the pro game too.
