Lewis chin would always scare me against a big puncher. But, 1998, got to go with Lewis. And Lewis would've been the only fighter to stop Foreman not named Ali.

Good point.aussie joe fighting on memory beat tillis, bey, page within 9 months...than cashed in a $1,000,000 payday with bruno that he came in 15 ilbs overweight.

George saw an old bugner handling some 1980s contender and came back.

I actually think this thread does a dissservice to foreman.i think the foreman of 1989-92 knocks out lennox lewis mark 1 (1988-1994)...lewis would not run or he couldnt for 12 rounds mk 1 lewis could be defensivelly sloppy and outboxed...cmon george could finish what bruno did for 7 rounds...he hit much harder had as good or better a jab and far stronger chin..

Dont forget the first thing Emmanuel steward did after taking on lewis is have him watch hour after hour of george foreman tapes of the 1970s...
Lewis learned to use his strength and power watching foreman...

Now 87-92 foreman was one thing...

93-98 foreman wasnt as good but he got robbed against briggs,he did beat savarese and moorer.i think he ruined moorer as a fighter.

Lewis is a very hard fight but i just cant see lewis stopping him...he would be far too tentative..it would be a clear points win, george would rock lewis once and compete but lose 9 rounds to 3

In 1998, I don't think it would've been close. I really believe it would've been the first time old Foreman tasted the canvas.
