Would Gerald Washington beat Wilder in a rematch ?

He didn't beat a champion to get his belts. Neither did Parker, Wlad, or Wilder.

 

I think the fact Wlad was champion for 10 yrs, slapped everyone stupid while champ would prove you don't have to beat the champ for the belts directly to be the best. Circumstances have to be taken in to account in everything. Same things happening now. AJ would stomp on everyone not named Klit(Hard fight) it's obvious. Parker is a 6 round fight max, and Wilder is a 3 round fight, especially with them bean pole legs, he gets crushed

 

It's not "what you think". Fury beat Wlad and then Fury was stripped. Joshua Parker and Wilder have not unified the titles. And just because you think AJ stomps over everyone doesn't mean jack. There are many others who think that Joshua is a ko waiting to happen.

 

Out of interest, who do you think would win between Joshua and Wilder?

AJ isn't a champion, and being hit by 41 year old Wlad isn't being hit by a 28 year old Wlad. He let an old man almost ko his ass. He's a ko waiting to happen.

Wlad was old. 41 is old in boxing and he floored the titlist and almost had him out. Props to Wlad who gave it his all. Father Time robbed him of a victory over the suspect Joshua. And no, Joshua is not the champion. Not even close.
