Yes, if he can get a fight with Stevenson or Brähmer (second hand kiddy belt) he probably will.

I don't think he could do well at 175. Physics are physics, he is too small. He'd probably be Martin Murray of 175 division. He'd come close but never win it and would probably take long beatings because he has a good chin, supposedly.

a guy like joe smith would prob be hell for golovkin at 175..its just being realistic

if golovkin is dropping kovalev in sparring you have to wonder why he was so shook of a featherfisted ward at 168...it DOES NOT add up

 

Boone also on video saying Golovkin with 16oz gloves hits just as hard as Kovalev with 10oz gloves. Boone is a straight g and says it how it is.

 

However Golovkin would clean out 168 division currently with relative ease. The only tough 50/50 fight would be with Ward at 168. Andre looks much "thinner" at 168 than at 175.
