I'd respect him more if he actually takes the fight and doesn't get totally outclassed.

If he takes the fight and doesn't get abused like Gatti did then ofcourse. If he gets beat like the red headed step child he is then probably not.

You doubt it? If he's willing to fight the best then he better get more respect.

id give him more respect. all the big names he beat had an asterisk to them:

tszyu was 35 and had fought 3 rounds in 2 years.

castillo had looked like crap when he "beat" herman ngoudjo(who is nothing special).

floyd would be his first "in his prime pound for pounder" that he takes on.

so i say that he gets a ton of respect if this takes place........unless he get totally outclasse (which is suspect he will).

i will give him respect if he takes the fight. But then again it depends on how he looks in the fight. If he gets his assed abused then it wil confirm wat evry1 has been saying for the longest about him. If he gives an o k account for himself then I will give him much respect. But He gon get abused so.... :rofl

    Nope.

If Hatton fought PBF I would expect him to lose. Once he loses, all the pricks will say "exposed", "bum" and their usual pathetic diatribe.

If by some miracle Hatton won, the same wasters would say that PBF was old, out of practice and blah blah ****in blah.

    No it wont.
    Not one bit.

It will mean he has lost to an ATG. He has had his ass handed to him by a phenomenal talent, a guy who is not only HOF but who is one of the most talented boxers the sport has ever seen.

Losing to such a fighter is no shame and it certainly does not confirm anything other than that PBF is a supreme fighter.

I agree with a point about Floyd, but what I said earlier, is what many people will also say about Hatton. Same boat Calzaghe is in.Once he fights an elite fighter and if he losses. People are going to say the same exact thing. Thay calzaghe is a fraud etc. Thats the way this sport goes

I would'nt respect him he still has'nt fought a top guy and he's talking **** about the best. Collazo style is similars to PBF and he barely got by him.

I am what could be described as a true Hatton hater, its on my ESB CV. However, if Hatton moved up in weight once again to fight Mayweather of course I would give him props for it.

I dont see it happening though, after Collazo gave him hell Hatton couldnt get back down to jnr welter quickly enough. I dont see Hatton ever stepping up in weight again sadly enough. the term 'once bitten, twice shy' springs to mind.
