I'm not sure, but at 147 Hatton would beat him.

i remember reading an article about this. oscar seem to offer hatton a fight before pac-DLH was signed and hatton declined because hatton-malignaggi was already set. previous to that, there are also talks of arum buying out malignaggi in order for a hatton-pac showdown instead but also hatton preferred to fight paulie first. i could look for the article but i would need time to look for it.

maybe it was also a GBP's tactic to force team pac to sign to a fight within his terms knowing ODH has another option. also if you look at it back, it makes sense that hatton would turn down an oscar fight because he could of fought the winner of pac-oscar match which is happening now. i just doubt if hatton expected that it was pac and not DLH he would be fighting.

Less authority? Hatton hits twice as hard as Pac.

this guy is delusional. :-( hatton can't even KD a small feather-fisted malignaggi and an old, part-time fighter in lazcano. and now hatton hits 2X harder than pac.

But he was also the first person to stop Paulie. :deal

Is this also supposed to say something about Cotto?

well, paulie didn't want to stop. it was his corner that did. pauli wasn't even seriously hurt and was still throwing some punches when his corner stopped it. he certainly would've made it to the end of the fight. many ppl here even say that malignaggi was more hurt in the cotto fight than with hatton.

He crumbled after a big Hatton right in the second and was worn down toward the end of the fight. Whilst he wasn't seriously hurt he wasn't throwing back for a reason - and that's because he was thoroughly beaten.

Spot on.The weight isnt a small factor,it was the decisive factor.
Loads of fighters would have beaten him,or at least given him life and death,in that emaciated state.
