Would Hatton have beaten that version of Tszyu had Cortez reffed that fight?

How about a a very good referee that enforced the rules strictly and was 100% fair and objective?

Would Hatton still have beaten that version of Tszyu?

For the poll, take objective to mean: "fair and impartial"

no way, he would of got picked apart. 80% of the fight was hatton hugging and dribbling all over tszyu., grabbing him and wrestlng him about the ring..

if cortez was reffing the same as he was mayweather, he would of handed it to tszyu.. but i dunno it would of been a spilt decision probably

Hatton cant stand still and fight, he can only come straight forward, he cant stand still and throw a punch, he has to lunge in.. if he cant get to the body, he gets bashed up

They arn't mutually exclusive, you can think 2 or 3 of them are all correct...."yes" or "no" would have been fine for this question...;O)

floyd is a different animal to Tszyu. The referee would not have made a difference in either matchup. hatton had the style and skills to be kostya in 05.

mayweather had too much for the hatton of 2007.

what hatton wants to do is stop blaming the ref and blame himself. his eating and alcohol habits have ruined him as a boxer.

If he could diet properly for a year he maybe able to get his old form back. BUT THAT IS A BIG IF? He has too much money in the bank

Ok...from now on, my polls will look more like:

Question: Did Ricky do bad, bad things to Tszyu in there or was he a good, good boy?

Option One: Ricky did bad things! He is a bad boy!:-( :-( :-( :| :| :|

Option Two: Ricky did good things! Ricky is a good boy!:D :D :D :happy :happy :happy

    Option Three: :| :| :| I wet my diaper! :| :| :| I am hungry! I want to suck mummy's booboo!:dead :dead :dead

Or just a question followed by "yes" or "no", although I have to admit your Option 3 sounds nice...:good

Couldn't have been a yes or no because I wanted to qualify the question in two ways, so as not to start another thread! I wanted to ask in the case of Cortez and in the case of an objective fair judge (which some people think Cortez wasn't) See if you can achieve all that with one poll in a clearer easier way!:bart

To answer my own thread, I think Cortez would certainly have stopped Ricky from doing bad, bad things to Tszyu, and so would a fair, impartial and strict judge...:good
Under both of these, Tszyu would not have lost that fight, shot as he was.
