What an incredibly stupid question. A far better question would be does a 108lb Ivan Calderon stop the DelaHoya that Pac beat that night?

Even though hatton struggles at ww I think he would have won due to oscar being dead at the weight because hatton would have worn him down wouldn't have been as eye catching as pacs win though.

Well I guess it wasnt Pacs movement, speed or workrate that made the difference then. Let the floodgates open! who then would not have beaten DLH on that night? I guess even Pauli Malinaggi untested at welter wouldve taxed that ass, Im not buying it!

Why stop at Malinaggi? I'm sure Lazcano would have gotten it done as well.

Hatton would have just weighed in at 140.... but would have boxed to a points win.

I don't think so. Pac used his ability to dart in and out while laying damage and not taking toomuch in return. And his very fast combination took their effect, keeping DLH on the defenseive. Hatton doesn't posses any sort of movement Pac had. Nor does he throw the combination Pac did.

And maybe you guys forgot just HOW often Paulie landed his hook on Hatton. DLH's hook makes Paulie's hook look like Charlie's Z's hook.

Delahoya was sick that night, he was a promoter in the lead up to the fight and not a boxer. He was a shell of himself. In my opinion hatton would have beaten him that night.

Delahoya wore the wrong socks, his shoes were too big, the moon didnt line up with mars.

The last time I heard that many excuses was when Foreman was asked how did Ali beat him.

The other thing to consider is that whatever Oscar's physical state, Manny's gameplan completely took Oscar out of the fight mentally. He was a beaten man after about the fourth or fifth round, the rest was a technicality.

Hatton might, might have beaten him, but there's no way he would have won that surgically. It would have looked and felt like a two-sided fight, and then who knows, maybe Oscar would have found it inside himself to overcome his physical state.

Yeah but oscar was dead and looked death warmed up. The only time he mallinaggi really hit him with an meaningful hook was in the first round. Also if hatton had beat oscar people would be saying oscar had no business being at 147.

He only rehydrated two pounds in the 30 hours between fight and weigh in. This is not an excuse, this is fact. He also forgot to wear his lucky panties
