I will simply say no. Benn was good but Hearns was on a different level.

50-50 fight I think. Gerald swatted harder then Tommy I reckon LOT bigger guy and Benn raged through it and found the ceiling of Gerald’s fighting ability. Tommy could box him and splatter Benn coming in but I think Nigel fights his way in and puts Tommy down hard.

I loved both fighters. Both had chilling power.
Hearns has the more rounded game, he'd use his Jab, where as Benn just got in there.
Either Benn catches Tommy early, as in the Hearns - Barkley 1 fight, that's his best bet, or Tommy hammers him to defeat in around 6.
But it would be a dream fight personally for me.

Benn was stopped at 160 by Eubank and Watson and was hurt badly by Galvano at 168, the punch that finished Shuler would have finished Benn at 160.

Hearns had a huge reach advantage, as Benn came in Hearns would able to land first at a safe distance, Benn never beat a fighter with a 78 inch reach.

Gerald had Benn out cold in the first but the ref pulled him back for no reason, then Benn flopped through the ropes which game him more than 10 seconds to recover.
