Foster was taller than Rondon, and considerably taller than Frazier and Mike Quarry. I can't see any way he was less than 6'2". He tended to crouch a bit, which of course is rare among guys who usually have the height advantage (as he usually did at LHW), which makes him look a bit shorter at times.

Kosst, just wondering aloud - are you a part-time referee based in Germany?

I take it that Maske is your all time favorite, there is nothing wrong with that, I too have my favorites as other posters do. Different Strokes For Different Folks.

But Frazier is also short for a heavyweight and Rondon was a middleweight. Maske is 1,90m, so he has like a advantage in range. I mean Michalczewsky is still tall with 1,85m; so Foster might have the same height or maybe like Kowalev, who is also shorter than Maske.

No (for this you nee "vitamin B" likely, at least to be judge). But I knew one who was amateur referee in Belgium (with Luxembourgian nationality), who was also congressman in the European council. But this man is past since almost a decade I think.
He was also fan of the old times (rated Jack Johnson as best heavyweight and Wilhelm Steinitz as greatest chess world champion).
Because of whom I know Battling Siki.

Foster lost to few light heavyweights before he was champion but he mainly lost to heavyweights, Rondon was the WBA champion when Foster iced him in round 2 in April 1972. Foster's left hook was deadly, Mike Quarry tasted the canvas because of it, so did Dick Tiger, who was defending champion. Foster was champion from 1968 until he retired in 1974.

This would be an easy night for Maske. Everything people think they know about Loughran and Tunney is correct about Maske.

Maske's resume tells us all we need to know about him.

Rope-a-Dope claimed he was 1,87m, so he was then 3cm smaller than Maske (like Pavlik or Kowlev).
So it is not really clear, if he had the same..
I guess the reach of Maske is around 2m, maybe 2,10m.

Well I have different favourites; not sure if it is Maske, could be also Tyson, Barrera, Beyer, Dzemsky or Kurzawa among others.

But Maske didn't lose to average guys in Light-Heavyweight and Tiger was in Middleweight arguable physical stronger (small for the division; lost later against Griffith there).

I mean what is creating a cut for an achievement? It is actual normal for a boxer (as Chris Byrd pointed). I think he was rather a one-trick pony, who moved always forward.
Henry Maske was tactical more clever and had a better technique, particular a superior jab and was one of the best counter-boxers ever (not only for Light-Heavyweight, but pound for pound). So the style of a comming forward brawler suits him and this makes holes for him to outbox the opponent with his superior technical skills. A boxer mostly wins against a fighter; as the first keeps cool and is smarter.

Let me get it right; Forster is one of the 10 greatest light-heavyweights. But on the other hand how many boxers did more than 10 title-defences in Light-Heavyweight, as Maske did? I can only remind to Michalczewsky (with 23), Erdei (who had 11) and maybe Rosenbloom.

So you don't actually know how long Maske's reach is,yet you are confident that it's longer than Foster's? Do you even know what Foster's reach was? I repeat Bob Foster was six feet three inches tall, half an inch taller than Maske!

Thats twice you have been proven wrong on one thread alone , it would be nice if you could bring yourself to admit it, but we have no realistic expectation of that!
