I think Holyfield would have put better fight aginst Wlad then Sultan did! I think he would atleast trow haymakers and stand toe toe with Wlad!

For sure this fight would be more entertaining!

He'd probably put a better fight against Wlad and take more risks, until Wlad sees the chance he didn't saw against Ibragimov and knocks the **** out of Holy.

yeah could be true! It would be better for boxing! Only thing that would be bad is that Holy could have some bad injury...

Wlad kills Holy in the ring with a right hand - then everyone complains about how this fight should have never happened and how Holy should have been retired. Bad for Boxing all around and we lose one of the greatest boxers of all time.

Oldyfield wouldn't have fought such a negative fight like Ibragimov which was a much more important factor in making that fight that boring than Wlad not taking any chances.

you'd have a point except that Kirk Johnson never fought Wlad.

Holyfield lacks the pop and the activity rate to crack Wlad's chin or to make him respect him. Size would be a porblem, as I see Wlad softening Holyfield up with jabs before raining down the right on him. Holyfield would be crushed within six - eight if this fight should ever happen. It would be bad for boxing and bad for Holyfield's health.

I love Evander Holyfield, but the plain truth of the matter is, he has no business being in the ring with any of the top heavyweights anymore. Sultan ibragimov handedly outboxed him, and had he possesed more size and power would have destroyed this version of Holyfield. If Evander were to sign to fight Wlad, I would highly protest it, for the sake of his health. I would always pick a prime Holyfield to beat any version of Wlad, but a 2008 rendering of Evander is a far cry from what he once was.

Wlad would have gotten a lot of negative press and comments if he had fought the ancient Holyfield. Unless of course Holyfield would have beaten Sultan in their fight. But that didn´t come close to happening did it?

I think a fight between them would be similar to the Wlad-Austin fight.

People need to get over that boring Wlad-Ibragimov fight. It´s over, time to move on. Let´s hope Wlad fights regularly and has good fights in the future.

It would be a briefer bout. Might be entertaining while it last but in the end Wlad via KO.

Yes, he definately would have put up a better fight....BUT, he also, in all reality would have been knocked out mid-late.

Holyfield is an orthodox fighter the reason Wlad was so cautious with Sultan was his Southpaw stance. Look how Wlad has fought against the previous 5 opponents to Sultan. Byrd is a Southpaw but Wlad knew he was in no danger of getting KOed which was not the case with Sultan.
