no, he wouldn't. Stevenson is a junk-yard dog, but he's good at keeping distance and using the jab to set up his straight left hand. Bernard wouldn't pick up a round. not these days.
I think no, and especially not now. Stevenson would just copy the Kovalev game plan. Stevenson has fast hands and knows how to box on the outside which are tough for Hopkins to overcome stylistically. He does well countering when the fight is brought to him.
Nope. He'd get knocked the **** out. Hopkins knows he can't deal with someone who can counter-punch and has faster hands than him. As soon as Stevenson hit him with a solid counter, Popkins' ass would be on the floor wondering WTF just happened.
I think Hopkins is done at elite level.. and Stevenson is lower elite. Speed always troubled B-Hop and Adonis has it + the range. Would be pretty similar to this fight.
Stevenson's straight left hand is one of, if not the most telegraphed punch in boxing right now. Bernard would see it a mile away every single time.
Yes. Kovalev apart from slugging can box and move, Stevenson is very limited. Stevenson got exposed by Fonfara, Hopkins would UD him.
