No. Both were still pretty green when they fought, but Roy's pure athletic qualities give him a big edge in any fight against Bernard. Even Bernard's usual edge in ring IQ against most opponents isn't there when he fights Roy.

I never said that, I was laughing at the question, which is laughable. The question was would Toney be able to beat Jones if he had his current boxing knowledge, was it not? I don't see the problem with me laughing at that. a) Jones has his kryptonite, which is mobility on an all time great level, b) The empirical evidence we have suggests that this fight will never be close in a million years. Empirical evidence is 1,000,000 times more important than any form of speculation. I would understand how your question may be warranted if the fight was close, therefore we could objectively debate and potentially give Toney the hypothetical nod. But you've seen the fight right?
