Would Floyd Patterson have been more successful with Liston had he not been at such a weight disadvantage? Who was the better fighter?
Damn that's 7x the amount in 1 fight than Adamek is his entire career:rofl Floyd was a good dude but there is good reason why Bert Sugar called him and Ingo the WEAKEST of belt holders at HW.
Dude, Patterson is a wrecking machine when the size is equal. Dempsey, Charles, Adamek, would all get it. And Floyd vs Adamek at Cruiser is a no contest fight, Floyd KO 5.
Sorry brother but you would have been KO'd in devastating fashion against Dempsey. That said, Braddock was the weakest champ, not Floyd :deal
Ahem. I am about to copy and paste something from my previous thread. Vladimir23 style. Now. One of the most underestimated HW's out there. - I AM UNBIASED, LOL People forget that Patterson has the fastest handspeed of any heavyweight. Observe as the 190lb Patterson goes toe2toe with 200+lb Oscar Bonavena Patterson lands a Leaping Left on Bonavena This content is protected Patterson unleashes his quick hands on Bonavena This content is protected Patterson uses slickness to make Bonavena look foolish This content is protected
No denying Patterson was a fantastic Heavyweight but he would be outgunned by Dempsey badly. He is faster but Dempsey's punches are shorter and he'd rip right through your peek abo stance en route to a KO. Just watch the Liston fights.
Thats fine, i'll take that, I just need you to back me up in saying that Patterson beats Adamek 10 times out of 10
