Would it be more proper to refer to the following as "UK" or "British" Fighters?

without trying to antagonise too many people or get too political London and the south east essentially pay for the rest of the UK (and parts of europe too) in the same way during the industrial revolution the coal fields of the north and tin etc of cornwall were the powerhouse of the Empire. Before people talk about Scotland declaring independence where would their Bank be without a handy little Westminster bailout.

Sorry Beeston i love the North as much as the next man unforuneatly the next man is a "Soft southern *******" as you would say

    nabbing your wallet :rofl

    sorry mate, couldnt resist.

Irish people are sound as **** in genera, but its the ones that go on about the famine and have all this hatred that do my head in.

My Grandpa fought in the British army as an engineer. He was sent to Rhodesia (Zimbabwe now after the war), after he finished the war he decided to stay there and opened the biggest hunting shop in all of Zimbabwe (the big buffalo it was called) and had 4 farms that grew the very profitable amarula fruit plant (used in a drink similar to baileys). He employed 100's of African natives and was renowned for paying fairly and looking after his workers. He owned a 17 bedroom mansion just outside of Harare (capital of zimbabwe). But he has his farms taken off him by Magabe and had to sell his shop and home before they nabbed that too. He was a millionaire who sold the lot for £70 ****ing grand!!!

Yet till the day he died he never wished any harm on zimbabweans, or had any problems with them. The way he saw it was that 1 man had not only ****ed him up but ****ed a country up, thats life.

Yet slapbangwhallop and others come here whinging about **** that never affected them, how can that be :think

London gets all the breaks tho, i.e wembley should have been built in the midlands (east midlands -tamworth/burton area) as its easily accessible to everyone and in the middle, but no its gotta be down there same as the olympics and dome. Birmingham used to be the capital back in the day you know, londonium was a small town that only got bigger due to neighbouring villages all joining and then the merger with westminister.

When you speak of London's income I assume you are refering to the financial services industry. This industry is essential fictional. It creates nothing and pretends to control wealth. All it does it truth is charge fees for a notional service. If the economic crisis and continuing melt down have taught us anything it is that London's financial industry is but smoke and mirrors. Real wealth can only be got by creating, producing and amassing something and as industrial output in Britain, Europe and American has deminished the real power in the world has gone elsewhere.

In real wealth terms the natural resources, manufacturing and Farming of Wales, Scotland and the north of England are far greater than London and the south east.
