We all know Floyd has done everything in recent years to protect his zero, and you can understand that to an extent. Yes, he has cherry-picked some opponents, but he has still fought good fighters.

It's quite clear the idea of losing his undefeated streak is something that drives him crazy. He gets worked up even at the idea of it being talked about, which shows a degree of insecurity in him as a person.

But would it be worse for him to lose the zero to Manny, the man many people say he ducked for years? Or is losing it to any other fighter just as bad?
Personally, I think he'd hate to lose it to Manny the most because that would prove if he is beaten, that he was avoiding the person he knows is his biggest threat.

"I have never wanted to win a fight so bad in my life," said Floyd. This proves that all these mind games he's trying to play on Manny are just a facade. He wants to beat Manny, the man, more than anything else. Floyd is shook already.

No. It would be worse if he lost his zero to someone else. Manny is ATG status.
Imagine if he lost to Maidana or Drainelo. Wouldn't that just be absolutely embarrassing??
Winning those fights shows how good he is, and if he loses to Manny, personally I won't be taking any credit away from his prowess. Yes he is a d-bag but he's undeniably very good. It would be pretty funny if he lost to Manny though, and I do think it would still be embarrassing because he HAS been ducking.

Even if he KO's Manny into a coma he'll never go down in history as a better boxer than Manny. Both their legacies have long been set. This fight is only a polish on them, it means nothing much on the grand scheme of things. Floyd lost his chance to cement an ATG legacy years ago. The 0 is irrelevant in boxing. Not true greats have a 0 after they retire.
