hasnt watched a pw fight. he gives as good as he gets and if you can't keep up youll get smothered. of course, that logic has only been applied to smaller guys (winky included). pav can keep up and not only that, when he does connect, its gonna do more than make him blink.

I saw Margarito beat the crap out of Williams only to be cheated by criminal judges. Blood was all over Williams, he got beaten, and that was by a welterweight!

If it happens then Pavlik is a lot better than I thought he was. I don't see it happening though, he's not that powerful. Abraham on the other hand would be the fighter who would be able to do that.

    thats an understatement....

i went to a bar to watch paul vs quintana pt 1.... and as round by roudn went by i was just getting more and more angry.... by the time the cards were read i was hoping maybe quintana would get robbed but obviously not... so anyways i was so ****ing mad that i ordered a lemonaide and some wings which was probably like 7 dollars at this bar.... i just threw a 20 in teh air and walked away before the 20 dollar bill even hit the table... proceded to go out side and scream obscenities into the air

if paul lost this fight (specifically if i went to the fight) i would probably just launch myself outside of my 6th story window of my apartment ... easily

Nah. As always, may the best man win....so long as it's fair and square. I like Williams though, the dude's always smiling even when he's throwing someone a beating. I like that.

How so? Williams is relatively unknown and a popular white American champion is always a good sell... especially a champ who lays people out like Kelly does.

Anyway, it wouldn't hurt me at all... don't know why it would. This is boxing... if you can't stand the sight of seeing guys get laid out then go watch another sport.

you were so mad that you ordered lemonade at a bar, wwm?? just breakin balls.

i hear ya tho. i respect that you like paul that much. i would be gutted if pav lost this fight. but if there is a silver lining, paul has plenty of options even if the worst case scenario does happen. he could really test mosely's contention that he wants anyone, he could clear out 154...

I have it too. I see the childlike innocence (I'm not commenting on the inevitable *** allegations !!!:twisted:)

But, I have to say I only saw one of his fights (Margarito) and I hated his fight style - the Calzaghe like swamping with punches. Throw punches that count, not just pawing jabs to score cheap points.

That said, I think Pavlik, because he's so robotic, will do just a touch better in the offense department than he did against Hops, but he won't get hit as much or as hard as he did in that fight.

Damn my friend, maybe we ought to watch this **** together, kind of be a "support group" or "suicide intervention" team for EACH OTHER!:!: Cause' like Lampley said, "In boxing somebody has to win and somebody has to lose, unless it's a draw":rofl (You can go ahead and copy/save that pearl of wisdom:rofl)

I'm callin' for a Pavlik T/KO 7 of Williams, but sure as hell wish for Williams to be fine and dandy afterwards.
