Would Jarrel "Big Baby" Miller make a better American heavyweight champ than Wilder?

He's charismatic, outspoken and seems to willing to fight the best. He has more personality than Wilder, that's for sure. All qualities needed to be a star.

And... I'd say his talent level is on par with Wilder, if not, better. His boxing fundamentals are definitely better than Wilder. He has promotion material written all over him imo and plus, he's doing business with Matchroom & HBO, both huge platforms that could promote him well. Give Hearn some time with him and he could be huge, no pun intended.

In my opinion, he has more potential to be a star than Wilder.

If he looses around 40 pounds he could be.

I've been thinking this more and more. Miller is far more personable than Wilder is and he
is significantly hungrier (no pun intended). He walks guys down and beats em up and he's
a far better interview than Wilder post fight and in simply out of the ring interviews. He'd be a far greater ambassador than Wilder

He's a better showman than Wilder but quite frankly I'm not impressed by him. Sure he beat Washington but Washington is terrible. I think Wilder would knock him out.

Maybe... but match him right, promote him well. He can be a star, imo. I think if Miller fought all of Wilder's opponents, he'd probably beat them all.

I can see Miller being a far less frustrating and less annoying champ than Wilder. Only problem I have with Miller is that skirt-like garment he wears but at least it's not as bad as Hughie's miniskirt which still gives me nightmares.

He'd need more than just the talk to be a star, if that's all you needed Shannon Briggs would be a star lol. Miller doesn't have the ability to match his mouth, he's on a similar level to Stiverne. Top 20 ish but doesn't have the ability to beat the top guys.

This. Miller wouldn't hold a title for long. Miller should've disposed of Washington in 2-3 rounds tops and would've if he wasn't so out of shape. If Miller could consistently come in around the 260lb mark it would be easier to take him seriously.

    Miller>Stvierne it's 2017.
Miller beats every single one of Wilder's title defenses.

2015 Stevirne gives Miller problems but still favor Miller to take the title. Miller is more talented/versitle than Steiverne

Miller now is better than the recent Stiverne we've seen. After winning the title and getting a bit of money Stiverne basically replaced what little hunger he had for boxing and aimed it towards the nearest all you can eat buffet.

The Stiverne than beat Arreola, KO's Miller. Miller isn't a particularly heavy hitter and would do what Arreola did and pressure Stiverne. Stiverne is a counter puncher with a big punch, he's have no problem finding the Big Babies chin and knocking him out. Miller is awfully easy to hit.

If Washington had any punching power he would of given Miller a much tougher fight, he was hitting Miller a lot even with his loaded up, telegraphed punches, but his punches just had no effect.

In shape sure, but not at 300lbs he doesn't. Miller has a draw with Dawekjo of all people, since he came in too heavy. Both Martin and Mamsour easily beat Dawekjo. Miller also looked awful in his fight with Washington.

Yep Miller is awful. I think even Arreola was better in his prime, at least when Arreola was walking forward and eating punches he could hit back hard unlike Miller. Prime Arreola would of KO'ed Washington far sooner than Miller did and I don't even rate Arreola. Miller is that bad.
